I owe my passion for creating things to my Grandmother, who taught me to knit, crochet and make scrap books from a very young age. Ever since then, I have been very enthusiastic to learn new creative skills. I found the perfect medium to develop my passion for painting flowers and nature when, in 1998 I took up watercolour painting.

My inspiration comes from the flowers in my own beautiful cottage garden and the wild flowers and fauna in the rural countryside around my village in North Oxfordshire. Fascinated by the complex structure of flowers, I enjoy capturing their vibrant colours by utilising many other mediums and materials to create fantastic textures.
